Children of freedom

They will ask them to tell our story, in their free world, that we fought wars for them. They will teach them that nothing on this earth is important except that fallen thing they call freedom and that is able to present itself to whoever pays more. They will also tell them that that prostitute loves men's love and always runs away from those who want to imprison her, she always gives victory to those who respect her without ever hoping to keep her in their bed. Tell them, O Jano, to tell that whole story from my tongue, in their words, and in the words of their time. My words consist only of the dialect of my country, and of the blood that flows from my mouth and hands.
