An enjoyable and exciting book as it narrates the events of a daring exploratory journey in the Nafud Desert in northern Arabia for a British adventurer whom most of our intellectuals and researchers have not heard of. It is Douglas Carothers, due to the lack of translating the text of his journey's book into Arabic since its publication about 78 years ago (1935 AD).
