The book / Encyclopedia of the 20th Century, by the author / Muhammad Farid Wajdi, presents a large comprehensive encyclopedia aimed at summarizing human knowledge in his era, in an ordered dictionary format to facilitate the reader's access to information. This work represents a development of his previous book "Treasure of Sciences and Language," where he expanded the linguistic, scientific, historical, medical, and domestic material to meet the needs of the student, teacher, doctor, lawyer, and head of the family. The encyclopedia covers the transmitted, rational, and natural sciences, jurisprudence, grammar, rhetoric, interpretation, hadith, fundamentals, biographies of famous figures from the East and West, geography, chemistry, astronomy, philosophy, social and economic sciences, along with laws of health and treatment, properties of medicines, and statistics. The book was endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Al-Azhar, and printed in ten volumes, to be a unique reference combining both intellectual and practical benefits at the same time.
