Concept of freedom, state, ideology

Freedom is a slogan, a concept, and an experience... If we look at freedom within its historical context, we must admit that indicators of it in Arab countries are weak... but the Arab society is full of echoes of a renewed call for freedom, and some elements of that society are beginning to deepen in the paradoxes of its concept, paradoxes that inevitably lead to awareness of the pitfalls of diagnosing it in a certain country, system, or individual... The important thing in the issue of freedom is that it always remains a subject of discussion, as it stems from a vital necessity, not as an academic question. No matter how diverse the image of freedom, the search for it remains a means to keep it at the top of the agenda because awareness of the issue of freedom is the source of freedom.
