Our problem has never been commitment or neglect... Our problem has been and still is "extremism" in one direction. Staying in the middle is a concept we have not mastered dealing with until now... Our extremism in generosity turned into wastefulness and extravagance... Our extremism in advice turned into intimidation and fear-mongering... Our extremism in love became possession and control... And our extremism in fear led us to give up the reins of our lives... so we became slaves to it...
