The Jauhari Collection 6/1

Peace upon the hills of Iraq ... and its shores and the cliff and the slope on the palm tree with the long fronds ... upon the master of the cultivated trees ... upon the tender ripe date that is harvested ... like the bride's adornment and when it is harvested ... with its left side on the day its clusters are ripe ... luxury and hardship at the same time ... and with the fresh fronds and the newly sprouted leaves ... a flowing robe and a shining dress when its branches are cut ... like the one with a wound from a thorn, so it is cut ... and the dress walks gently ... and walks easily with the breeze ... the dress of the young girls' pride ... they splash water from it, and the Iraqi shows in the current ... in times of hardship and dew.
