My name is Aram

My name is Aram, by the author William Saroyan, is a famous collection of stories inspired by the life of the Armenian writer in the American city of Fresno, through the character of the child "Aram". The stories depict the daily life of his family, neighbors, and immigrant community, in a simple and warm style that combines humor and nostalgia. The book highlights human values such as love, friendship, and optimism despite life's difficulties. The translation by Akram Hamssi conveys the spirit of the original text in fluent Arabic, making the reader live the rich life experience that Saroyan wanted to portray.
