Usage instructions: Daily procedure for cleaning the group head (BACKFLUSH): Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a "blind" filter. Add one Espresso Clean® tablet to the group handle. Insert the handle into the machine and start the brewing cycle for 10 seconds to dissolve the cleaner. Stop the cycle and leave it for 10 seconds. Repeat the process 4 more times by running the cycle for 10 seconds then stopping for 10 seconds. Remove the handle and rinse it thoroughly under running water. Insert the handle with the blind filter and start and stop the cycle 10 times to ensure complete rinsing. Reinsert the regular filter and serve a cup of espresso to ensure the machine has been fully cleaned. Daily procedure for cleaning the portafilter, filter baskets, and filters: Dissolve one Espresso Clean® tablet in 500 ml of hot water. Soak the portafilter, filter baskets, and filters for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly under running hot water.
