This substance significantly affects the insect nervous system by causing accumulation of acetylcholine esterase at nerve endings, leading to involuntary muscle activity with tremors, paralysis of the insect, and usually death within 1-2 days. 1- The insecticide can be applied to fruit trees three times a year, with 7-10 days between applications. 2- The insecticide can be applied to vegetables three times per season, with 7-10 days between applications. 3- Livestock grazing is not allowed in treated areas or feeding with treated fodder before 7 days of spraying. 4- The insecticide is used in integrated pest management (IPM). 5- It is preferable to add a spreading agent to increase effectiveness in controlling tunnel makers.
