Product Overview

CupriSorb™ is a powerful, high-performance chelating resin specifically designed to extract copper and heavy metals from both freshwater and saltwater. It removes copper more rapidly and efficiently than activated carbon, making it the ideal solution for copper toxicity emergencies; it remains effective until it changes color to a deep blue-black.

• Rapid, emergency removal of all forms of copper, including chelated copper.

• Extraction of residual copper accumulated in the substrate and gravel over time.

Directions for Use

• Dosage: Use 250 mL per 600 L of aquarium water to remove up to 7,500 mg (12 ppm) of copper. • Setup: Place inside a dedicated filter bag (such as "The Bag™") and secure it in an area with high water flow (e.g., canister filters or external filters).

• To ensure purity: To remove copper leaching from the substrate, continue using the product for at least two weeks after copper test results show a "zero" reading.

Regeneration Method

• Soak in a non-metallic container holding two cups of water and half a cup of Muriatic acid for one hour in an open area away from children, then rinse thoroughly.

• Add sodium bicarbonate until foaming stops, then rinse again; the product is now ready for use.
