Product Overview

The Dophin A-2000 Hang-on Filter is a compact and excellent external filtration system, specially designed to provide effective and optimal purification for small aquariums. It combines an ultra-quiet motor, economic power consumption, and a smart indicator system that shows when it is time to maintain or change the filter media, ensuring a clear and healthy aquatic environment for fish.

Primary Uses

  •  Providing an integrated three-stage filtration system (mechanical, biological, and chemical) to ensure water clarity
  • Effectively purifying water from suspended impurities and odors using advanced filter media
  • Supporting the colonization and growth of beneficial bacteria to achieve sustainable biological balance in the aquarium
  •  Regularly moving and circulating aquarium water to prevent stagnation and raise oxygen levels

Benefits and Features

  •  Filter Media Change Indicator: A smart feature that automatically shows when it is time to replace the filter media with new ones.
  •  Flexible Flow Control: Equipped with a control knob to adjust water flow, increasing or decreasing it as needed.
  • Easy-to-Replace 3-in-1 Media Container: A practical design that allows changing filter media (sponge, carbon, and biological media) in moments.
  •  Safe and Silent Operation: A built-in, quiet, and high-efficiency motor that causes no household disturbance and is designed to completely prevent leaks.
  • Flexible Extension Pipes: Equipped with an extension pipe system to ensure maximum flexibility during installation inside the aquarium.

How to Use

  • Securely mount the filter onto the outer edge of the aquarium in the designated place.
  • Fill the filter chamber completely with water before plugging it into electricity to ensure smooth pump operation and immediate flow startup.
  • Connect the device to a power source and turn it on.
  • Adjust the top flow control knob according to the desire and need of the aquarium.

Important Guidelines

  •  Monitor the media change indicator regularly, and it is recommended to replace the filter or carbon media every two months to achieve the best filtration result.
  • Completely disconnect the filter from the electrical current before starting any maintenance or cleaning work.
  • Ensure the intake tube and inlet are cleaned periodically to guarantee smooth water flow without any clogs.
