It replenishes essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium that are often removed by reverse osmosis (RO) or deionization (DI) processes. Unlike many competing products, Equilibrium contains no sodium or chloride, making it completely safe and highly effective for planted tanks.

Directions for Use

To raise general hardness (GH) by 1 meq/L (3 dGH), add 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) when setting up an aquarium or performing water changes.

For best solubility, mix with 1 L of water before adding to the tank. A slight haze may appear but will clear within 15–30 minutes.

Do not use when replacing evaporated water.

Ideal GH levels range from 3–6 dGH, depending on plant and fish species.
