A sound of footsteps approaching reached her ears, she straightened her sitting and her heartbeats quickened as she drifted towards the door, and every time those footsteps got closer to her room’s door, her heartbeats accelerated even more, the chandelier hanging from the ceiling swung wildly, the lights trembled as if they would go out, then intensified and flooded the place again as if an invisible hand was playing with it, someone knocked on the door three times loudly, then waited a little and knocked again with great determination. When she did not respond, she hoped from God that the visitor would leave, for she feared her tongue would slip and she would reveal everything. The door slowly opened with a frightening screech, and her guest entered, approaching with eyes shining with passion and curiosity, and sat quietly waiting for her to reveal all secrets. She kept staring at his face until she thought she wouldn’t speak, and finally she swallowed her saliva, and her memory returned to ten years ago, and she began to reveal the secrets she had in her.
