Product description

Knowing the source of matcha is essential to ensure its high quality. It is common for wholesale traders to cooperate with several farmers to distribute matcha to suppliers abroad, but we are honored to establish a direct partnership with a traditional Japanese tea farmer with a rich history. We believe that this transparency in trade enables us to offer authentic, flavorful, high-quality matcha from Japan to Saudi Arabia. Our farmer, Mr. Ichi Kitada, is from the seventh generation managing the family matcha farm, where tea is cultivated exclusively according to the highest farming standards. Many of his fields are located in an ideal site at the foot of Mount Hara, which is not only a stunning view but also one of the highest elevations in Kyoto, exceeding 300 meters. The stimulating climate, with clear temperature differences between night and day, proximity to the picturesque Wazuka River, and natural slope drainage, all create perfect conditions for tea plants to develop the fully Kyoto flavor. Grade: Festive Luxury Season: Spring, First Harvest Region: Kyoto Origin: Japan Weight: 100g Type: Blend - Yabukita - Okumidori Creamy and smooth texture with a rich flavor. Our team recommends using it with milk and water. Matcha Ceremonial: means the festive matcha designated for tea celebrations and Buddhist temples. It is often ground into powder using granite mills, which are expensive. Untrained drinkers are unlikely to notice a significant difference between ceremonial grades and premium grades, as there is no specific set of flavor characteristics that define the highest grade of matcha; some matcha are distinctly sweet, while others can be relatively bitter with other compensating properties. The complete set of aesthetic properties such as flavor, color, and texture plays a role in classifying and determining the quality of matcha. Nutritional value of matcha: Matcha tea contains many beneficial elements and components, including: Natural antioxidants such as chlorophyll and polyphenols, with much higher quantities than regular green tea. Vitamins: many types including B complex vitamins, and vitamins A, C, E, K. Fiber. Matcha also contains elements like zinc, selenium, chromium, magnesium, as well as some fatty acids such as theophylline and theanine.
