It is the first perfume from Prada, launched after the feminine perfume, and it is also with an oriental composition based on amber. Perfumer Daniela Roche Andrie created the composition in four main accords: amber - the main accord, the rich and complex oriental base that includes amber, vanilla, labdanum, tonka, and patchouli; fougere - or the aromatic accord with a wonderful soapy scent, including notes of galbanum, vetiver, orange blossom, and myrrh in the heart; cologne - the fresh citrus top notes of bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom, and cardamom; leathers - the leathery note is present in the base of the composition (leather, saffron, and sandalwood). Muccia Prada, the granddaughter of the founder, who transformed her grandfather’s leather goods design into a large company, personally participated in making this perfume. "I just tried to imagine what I would want if I were a man." Perhaps this is due to the fact that it was made by a feminine hand, so the scent is not at all aggressive, as one might expect from an oriental perfume with leather and amber. Instead, it is very elegant and pleasantly masculine. The perfume opening is orange blossom, cardamom, bergamot, and mandarin orange. The heart of the perfume is bitter, musk, orange blossom, heather flowers, and vetiver; the base of the perfume consists of saffron, vanilla, labdanum, tonka, leather, sandalwood, and patchouli.
