Al-Hajar (Madain Saleh)

Art Print Designed by Norah Sahman

An expressive poster inspired by Hegra – Mada’in Salih, where the rock formations stand as an enduring trace of a civilization deeply rooted in time. Palm trees surround them as a symbol of life in the midst of the desert, while the warm colors of sunset reflect a sense of awe and tranquility. The abstract sun and the moving sky add a spiritual and contemplative dimension, allowing the design to embody the majesty of the place and the depth of its history, while expressing the relationship between human beings, memory, and the land.

About the Designer:

Norah Sahman’s works reflect her identity as a contemporary Bedouin woman, inspired by the beauty of simplicity in the Najd region and the nature that shaped her upbringing. Her illustrations reveal lesser-seen aspects of Saudi culture and celebrate nature and heritage through simplicity, color, and patterns.
