What you missed, He did not create for you

Art Print Designed by Lama Almogren

What was not meant for you was never created for you, and what was created for you will never pass you by.

This saying is embodied in an artwork featuring a manuscript inspired by Diwani calligraphy, flowing in the shape of an hourglass. The sand flows within it to echo the passing of time, while the piece in the upper part remains fixed and unmoving with the الرمال, in a profound reference to what has been written for a person, and what is destined to remain.

Through this composition, the work carries a message about time and destiny, leaving the viewer with a moment of contemplation on the meaning hidden behind the phrase.

The work is also inspired by the song “Vienna” by Billy Joel, which calls for slowing down in the race of life, and reminds us that everything has its proper time.
