Product description

Peeberry on the name of Mount Peeberry in the Sidamo region in southern Ethiopia where it is believed to be the birthplace of coffee, according to the popular legend that a shepherd named Kaldi noticed that his flock had suddenly become active after eating strange red cherry beans, it was later revealed that the secret was in the coffee. What is Peaberry coffee? What distinguishes this crop is that it descends from a different type known as Peaberry, as you know that natural coffee beans contain two seeds inside that grow flat against each other like peanut halves if the analogy is correct, but as a result of a natural mutation that occurs in this type which makes up about 5% of the coffee harvest, the coffee beans contain only one seed like an only child; which makes the coffee bean spoiled and preferred; as a result of the space it alone occupied, it is smaller in size, denser, sweeter, and richer in concentrated and complex flavors in the cup compared to regular coffee beans. Impressions: Black berries, mango, jasmine. Elevation: 2150-2050 meters. Variety: Heirloom. Processing: Washed.
