The lover

Author: Ghassan Kanafani Category: Short Stories and Novels Publisher: Dar Al-Taqwa Publication Date: 2023 Cover Design: Ordinary Paper Number of Pages: 78 About the Novel: This book contains three incomplete novels. It is as if Ghassan Kanafani wanted his body, shattered by bombs, to write the ending himself. However, endings are not written. With this writer, there are never any endings. There is the search that opens new horizons when all horizons close. These incomplete novels were only published after Kanafani’s martyrdom. When they were first published in the magazine "Palestinian Affairs," they had the impact of a surprise. The first novel was titled "The Lover," in which the author depicts images of the resistance fabric, embodied by Palestinian fighters. As for the second novel, titled "The Blind and the Deaf," Kanafani reimagines his symbols, placing them within a stunning linguistic-poetic structure.
