Summary:
The relationship between grammar and jurisprudence is undeniable and its strength cannot be debated; because grammar is one of the main sciences that a jurist must be familiar with its rules and details; many jurisprudential rulings are based on differences in grammatical guidance.
Al-Kaluzani dedicated in his book (Al-Tamheed fi Usool al-Fiqh) two chapters discussing particles and their meanings; clarifying their impact on some jurisprudential rulings; citing the opinions of scholars as available.
The task of this research is to study the indications of these particles mentioned by Al-Kaluzani in his book in a comprehensive manner, presenting his opinion, the opinions of other usool scholars, jurists, and grammarians, highlighting the rulings derived from these opinions, and clarifying the similarities and differences between the views of usool scholars and jurists and those of grammarians.
The nature of the research required it to consist of an introduction followed by a preamble that includes two topics:
First topic: Translation of Al-Kaluzani.
Second topic: The relationship between grammar and jurisprudence.
This preamble is followed by three sections:
First section: Meanings of prepositions, including nine demands.
Second section: Meanings of conjunction particles, including four demands.
Third section: The meaning of (Innama).
The research concludes with a summary that contains the most important findings, followed by a bibliography of sources and references, and a subject index.
