Author: Sebastian Vitzike Publication date: 2026 Book category: Story and Novel Publisher: Bayt Al-Kutub Number of pages: 436 Format: Paperback Summary of the novel: You know that your fear is illogical... You have read that statistics show flying is safer than driving, nineteen times safer. Illogical? Maybe, but you're not wrong. Mats Kruger, a psychiatrist suffering from aviophobia, whose daughter Nili is about to have her first grandchild, finally decides to face his fear and take a thirteen-hour flight from Buenos Aires to Berlin. And because he doesn't believe in coincidence, he bought the three safest seats statistically on the plane, and added the seat 7, the most dangerous in case of an accident. He bought it just to keep it empty. Just as a precaution. But when he is forced to give it up to another passenger, he receives a call that freezes the blood in his veins: Nili has been kidnapped. And the caller has one demand only: to convince the pilot to crash the plane... or Nili will die!
