After the fifteenth night, he began to feel tired, so he looked for a beast to escape on. He found his target in a weak mare near the bodies dumped, the foul smell, and the heavy bloodshed. She carried what she could and fled at night. He was not confident he would reach Egypt alive with his horse, but his noble soul pushed him to try. When he was about to enter it, his injury exhausted him, the road tired him, and fever burned his body, and before meeting Al-Izz bin Abd Al-Salam, he had passed away.
