The fog

Author: Rana Postarikh Publication Date: 2024 Book Genre: Short Stories and Novels Publisher: Dar Al-Arabi for Publishing and Distribution Format: Paperback About the Book: A small plane is blown up in northern "Quebec" in Canada, but the case is quickly closed as just a mechanical failure. Afterwards, "Chuck" is assaulted and beaten severely by unknown attackers who attack him in his apartment. Is this related to the plane incident? "Chuck" finds himself in the midst of a large conspiracy he unknowingly became involved in. And amidst all this, he is surprised to find that his close friend "Nat" has decided to move to Afghanistan. Exciting events unfold rapidly between "Quebec" and "Kandahar," in a rich context that addresses ideas of wars, terrorism, migration, and stereotypes. I wonder, are these concepts truly clear, or do we need to remove the fog from them?
