The blocked door - Ghaith Al-Shaya

A novel that begins its events in a late time, but in its structural components aims to shed light on the past, from its intersections that traveled long in time to form a gateway to the future in which we now sense our paths or we can say.. it is difficult for us to understand it. Time accelerates in the same way that our lives, which have become limited, pass by and do not master merging with development and modernity, and on this pattern, this wonderful artistic work leaves us with a question we are still confused about its answer, who precedes whom, us or time? And the matter does not stop there, the novel also raises the question of the contemporary human, what can memories do to us? And is the past really so powerful in influence, or is it nothing more than a mirage we chase so we can reach safety?
