The old door - Abeer Al Ali

This novel is an outstanding narrative that explores human concerns, celebrates the longings of the soul and its aspirations, and proclaims (nostalgia) for spaces filled with (happiness) and joy. This novel carries within it a cultural critique of society and strives to feminize a dignified position for women, preserving their balance and granting them the right to think, express, and live... Therefore, the novel is considered a feminist work that is preoccupied with the horizon of contemporary women, listens to their legitimate questions, and offers a mature vision of rejection, committing transgression, and establishing a space of love, freedom, and sacrifice for the homeland... The novelist has truly succeeded in presenting a literary work that soars with the wings of vision and structure in the sky of contemporary female narration... A work worthy of appreciation and recognition. Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Hussami
