Konica 19

The only son Abdul Karim is described by members of his family as a "non-religious" person, and when his father dies, he alone bears the burden of fulfilling the father's mandatory will condition for distributing the inheritance: paying nineteen years of prayers on the late father's behalf. Abdul Karim hires other worshippers to perform the task before discovering something beyond that. "Konika 19" is a literary work that includes an exciting narration that is breath-holding and sharp satire in a well-structured narrative architecture, depicting a wide panoramic scene of the transformations of an entire generation through the world of the protagonist and the surrounding characters, as well as showing us aspects of the dominance of materialistic values of the era over life in religious communities and environments.
