This novel tells the story of Musa ibn Abi Gassan; the Andalusian knight who led the Granada armies during its final siege. The twelve chapters of the novel - corresponding to the months of the Andalusian year - recount the biography of the Black leader: narrating his childhood and youth, and his journey that included Granada, Almeria, Malaga, and the Boushra mountains. It extended to the opposite side of Morocco and Fez. Then it ultimately brought him back to Granada... where it all began!
