It is not important that a person reads everything written or encompasses all that others have produced, but rather that a person acquires the means and tools that allow him to add each day to his knowledge and to his mental and poetic wealth. If he is also able to produce what benefits people and increases their heritage in science, art, and knowledge in general, then he is truly, in my opinion, a happy person. And I look at the Egyptians around me and see their large numbers, but they are hindered from the simplest culture that would enable them to benefit from some of these treasures, due to the ignorance imposed upon them by the dark ages that have persisted and extended until it is as if it were the eternal night. In the files of literature, the writer "Taha Hussein" moves through these articles, opening each file with a critical eye on the symbols, dimensions, and secrets it implies. Afterwards, he proceeds to read the reality of how this file is applied by writers and poets, taking the life of literature in Egypt as an example of what he sees—namely, the lack of quality in writing. In these articles, he calls on writers, poets, and even politicians to support thinkers and their good productions, and to reveal at that time what is unrelated to literature. His comments do not stop there; they extend to opening the files of the writers themselves, commenting on what some of them have written in articles that, in his opinion, are "mysteries and riddles" that are incomprehensible even to the writers themselves. Even the common people have a share in these articles, which covered everything related to literature, the writer, and their disputes with the Arabic language.
