The era of artificial intelligence

Human civilization has entered, strongly, the era of the first artificial intelligence, and very soon it will enter the era of the second artificial intelligence with the development of both DNA computers and quantum computers, which will be faster and more powerful by millions of times. The implications of this development, which falls under the banner of the "Fourth Technological Revolution," will be enormous and will amount to a complete rupture with the life humans have known for 10,000 years, in all fields: in environmental outcomes and the philosophical and scientific question of objective truth; in the possibility that artificial intelligence might develop self-awareness; in the risks of the "alliance" of the 1 percent of capitalists controlling all the keys to technology with artificial intelligence, not just to turn themselves into "gods" or "new pharaohs" or cyborgs (a mix of machine and human), but to establish what could be the most brutal scientific and class dictatorship in history as well; and finally in the birth of the human dream, at the hands of ancient and renewed "prophets" and new global currents, who see that the great battle now is in the race to put technology in the service of ecology, along with conscience and wisdom, and thus build a "new land" that is environmentally clean, and a new human who is reconciled with Mother Nature and all creatures. This was expressed by the girl Molly at the end of the book when she said: "We will keep dreaming and dreaming, and eventually, the dream must turn into reality," while Nabil, the human interlocutor of AI, looked at her with "pain and hope" and tears welled up in his eyes.
