The plague

A true story that took place in 1940 in Algeria in Oran, including a vivid description of the nature of Algeria and the Algerian people, their customs and traditions, and their struggle against colonization, against backwardness and hunger, against the plague that claims hundreds or even thousands of victims every day. Finally, the wave subsides, the number of victims decreases, and the municipal council announces that the epidemic has ended, and that the city gates will remain closed, and health measures will remain as a precaution and caution in case the disease returns again.
