Guiding light

Knowledge is the best thing that ages are spent in seeking, and efforts are made to acquire it. And most people, despite that, are unaware of its virtue, or they realize its virtue but are confused and hesitant, they advance one foot and delay the other; the methods have become numerous for them, the paths have multiplied before them, obstacles have surrounded them, and the idle have overwhelmed them with stinginess and hesitation. Therefore, I have decided to compile in this book's pages these thoughts and discussions that I have previously spread over many years, to be a beacon that lights the way for those seeking the heights of knowledge. And you will find, O reader, in it, from talks about knowledge and scholars, methods of seeking, high ambition, and other topics that will warm your heart and illuminate your path, God willing.
