Orientalist studies

Because the distinction between unjust ideological Orientalism and scientific Orientalism has become an urgent necessity, as the latter has contributed many great works to our Arab heritage, history, and manuscripts, and these efforts are still documented, written, and testify to sincerity, dedication, and objectivity, and similarly, we must evaluate each Orientalist work individually, for there is no such thing as fair Orientalism and unjust Orientalism, but there are fair Orientalist works and the opposite. And because there are global circumstances that have affected the growth and prosperity of Orientalism, and conversely, its collapse and fluctuation, as well as its political choices and the degree of development of its ideological discourse, these conditions will serve as a fundamental and important factor in shaping the future of Orientalism and its relationship with the political role played by various research centers concerning the Arab world and Islamic issues, and the emergence of Orientalism from its cloak and its adoption of different forms.
