This encyclopedia is a Lebanese Arab philosophical project that brings together researchers from Lebanon and various Arab countries in the spirit of high intellectual understanding, and in accordance with serious objective scientific research. As for the firm conviction inspired by the researchers in this encyclopedia, it is the statement that monitoring the states of global philosophy is a philosophical act that grants Arab philosophical reflection the potential to reveal the individual and collective human tests in the context of contemporary Arab society. The encyclopedia of contemporary French philosophy contains ten volumes, each of which addresses a theme of contemporary French philosophy. It selects the most prominent contemporary French philosophers who have contributed significant philosophical work that justifies including their works in this research approach, due to the profound impact they have left on the movement of universal philosophical thought.
