The Maze of the Worshiper

The worst types of betrayal are to betray the truth; and the most wicked types of deception are to deceive yourself; and I swear by Allah, I was neither a traitor nor a deceiver, nor did I mislead people, nor did I ignite fitnah in souls; rather, I clarified the truth to their eyes, and enlightened minds with true knowledge without falsehood or deception; and I see in what I did nothing but a duty imposed on me by what I have learned and what I was taught by monks and scholars whom you once loved and were closest to my heart and mind, before you lost the way from your footsteps.
