Motaz is a young man in his thirties who does not attract attention or raise questions. He suffers from a deep condition inside him that he does not know what it is, a disorder in the optic nerve, or rebellion in memory cells, or madness in the chromosomal system. Whatever presents itself to him, he will accept it, as long as he does not remain in the same state longer than necessary, and it becomes boring. His parents died in a car accident when he was twenty-five, leaving all their wealth to him. He married and quickly divorced his wife after three years of marriage, fearing she would get used to him and what this situation entails of boredom. One day, he met Sophia, a Lebanese Christian woman, online, which represented a strange state that contradicted the monotony he lives. So he decided to visit her at her apartment in Beirut. When he entered, he felt as if he had entered a tomb... Muhammad Hassan Alwan, a Saudi writer and novelist.
