The empty pillow

The empty pillow - Ihsan Abdel Quddous and he returned to his house and in his chest a calm joy.. and he threw himself onto his bed and he did not feel anything from the world except the beats of his heart.. and he looked at the pillow beside him.. he saw it with an empty eye.. he saw her wide eyes.. and her full lips.. and her high cheeks.. and her black hair.. like the curtains of the night.. and he kissed the empty pillow!!
