The meeting between Shams al-Din Tabrizi and Jalal al-Din Rumi was a turning point in the lives of both men, where during their companionship with the disciples, conversations, dialogues, and stories took place related to the Sufi path, explaining his stations, states, and manners. Each of them refined their spiritual experience through these conversations. The relationship between Shams al-Din and Jalal al-Din was a puzzling mystery to everyone from its inception until now. Many were unable to understand the true nature of this relationship, but Shams al-Din and Jalal al-Din revealed the truth of this relationship through the conversations that took place between them, and they were united by divine love and the Sufi path. These conversations are known as "Articles of Shams al-Din Tabrizi." The articles are rich with many pieces of information about Shams al-Din Tabrizi that may not be available in other Sufi writings, and they also express his views on some Sufi sheikhs, scholars, and jurists.
