The events of the novel take place in the future in the country buried in the heart of the world when control becomes a obsession for the devils of humans and jinn, and then people drown in worldly pleasures so they forget to return to God; Ayloul, the heroine of the novel, will venture into the ice age in search of the truth that leads her to Sultan of the jinn island Shamhurosh, and she sinks into the details of her cursed memory and the secrets of her father's political ambitions, she is the daughter of the president, who lost and with him his people to endlessness. It is worth mentioning that the writer Lynda Tordy holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations and has published eight works ranging between literature and politics, and recently her first novel was published, "The Chestnut Swan: Dancing in the Devil's Sanctuary," by Utopia Publishing and Distribution, 2020. Lynda said about "The Chestnut Swan" in a special statement to "Her News": "Due to my many readings about Egyptian history mixed with politics, I wrote my first novel, which takes place in the Egyptian streets during the January 25, 2011 revolution.
