Product description

This book is considered as the document that documented the history of Najd and Hejaz on its desert sands, as it included a series of political, social, religious, and geographical articles, carrying within it facts and observations in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula. Muhammad Shafiq Mustafa documented Najd and Hejaz by describing the countries he visited, which in turn revealed the customs, traditions, folk heritage, cultural, and religious beliefs. We see that the author began his journey by visiting the town of "Qurayat Al-Melh" as it was the first town under the influence of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the then Saudi king, then visited the cities of "Al-Jawf," "Hail," and "Buraidah," and spoke about the Najdi beliefs in life and eternity. He concluded his journey by visiting the Holy City, "Mecca," where he talked about its administrative system, the rituals of Hajj, fasting, and various acts of worship.
