This is an important campaign to understand the Book of the Unseen and the Mind by Ilyas Belka, published by Tanweer Publishing and Media. Its subject revolves around the relationship between the mind and the hidden aspects of existence.. with the world of the unseen. The book attempts to answer a central question: Does the mind have limits, or is it an absolute power of perception? Is there a realm beyond the mind, above its capacity? And if the human mind has limits, what are they, and what is their reality? How does the mind deal with this world that surpasses its capabilities? This study belongs to the field of philosophy of the mind, which seeks to understand the nature of this mysterious human machine, and to know its mechanisms and limits of operation, all in light of a Quranic concept which is "the unseen" — the present, absent existence at the same time — which opens rich horizons for the mind, humans, and society; this effort attempts to encompass some of these. Therefore, the study compares the Islamic and Western heritage on the subject; perhaps it reveals some connections between the mind and the unseen, and perhaps it contributes to the current global debate, which has extended to the Arab and Islamic world, about the position of religion and reason in the public and private spheres. The book is divided into two chapters: the first presents the issue of the cognitive limits of the human mind, as seen by some of the European philosophy scholars, from the Greek era to Kant's time in particular, then the same issue among some major Islamic thinkers; the second chapter discusses the world of the unseen and the relationship of the mind to it.
