The contemporary feminist
The term feminism coincides with a major problematic in defining its nature, especially with the multiplicity of trends in the East and West and their divergence and contradiction in perceptions regarding women's creativity. This discrepancy has always placed the term between a binary (acceptance/rejection), which led to the existence of three critical positions regarding feminist writing, especially after the emergence of several synonymous expressions; some critics have spoken of feminism, others described women's creations as feminine creativity, and some have referred to women’s writing, until the matter reached considering the term feminine creativity as a broad field with its connotations, including literature written by women and men about women and their issues.
This book analyzes the image of man in contemporary feminist narrative, through a psychoanalytic approach, aiming to present a theoretical and practical conception that helps the recipient to interpret the reality, and what has become of the psychological group in Arab societies from psychological changes, through which contradictions of the "self" were uncovered in light of its relationship with "we," by approaching selected narratives from creative and life experiences characterized by depth of visions.
