The book is a detailed academic study of Islamic political theories, in which the author reviews, based on the most authentic references, classical Islamic political theories without addressing contemporary Islamic political thought. The author attempts to establish the origins of the Islamic state derived from the Quran and Sunnah and the Rashidun Caliphate, relying on the opinions of previous scholars. The author is also a political science student in America, so he translated Islamic political jurisprudence terminology into the terms commonly used today, making it easier to understand and apply to reality.
