Product description

This is Abu Al-Ala Al-Ma'arri in "Saqt Al-Zand" and the highest number that the fire ignites, and the saqṭ is what falls, as if it means that his poetry is the first rain or the sparks that herald that it will intensify until it becomes a flame or a blazing fire. The name itself contains a meaning of pride mixed with human emotion and optimism, which means that Abu Al-Ala's literature, with its underlying dark view of human nature and tendency towards pessimism, is the result of political and social factors connected to his era, and not merely a reflection of a suffering self, deprived of sight and the heavy night that extinguished all inclination towards contentment and optimism. And "Saqt Al-Zand" collection reflects this through the poems it contains, distributed into six sections: elegies and wisdom, praise, eulogies, description and ghazals, brotherhood poems and miscellaneous, and the ode poems.
