Dozens of stories, incidents, and books that Al-Rashid presents in attractive images and with indications of disapproval or approval, such as denying the rotation of the Earth, and like the love of Sheikh Al-Azhar and Al-Rashid Rida for Om Kalthoum, and like the history of guardianship over women. Al-Rashid divides his book into two chapters, the first titled: (In Heritage and Tradition), and the second titled: (In Culture and History). The articles in both chapters are very interesting. Abdullah Al-Rashid is a great intellectual and possesses a scientific and academic sense. Let us contemplate his words about: the invention of traditions, which is a phrase with an apparent contradiction, originally a book written by the famous historian Hobsbaum and Terence Ranger. Because generally, tradition has diverse origins in concept and terminology. There are innovations that have become as if they are ancient traditions, either through media, nationalist movements, or authorities. I read Al-Rashid's collection twice, then when I started writing these lines, I reread most of his articles a third time, and each time I read, I discovered something beautiful, noble, or amusing.
