In the book "Arab Passion," Jil Kipball, a professor and head of the Middle Eastern Studies program at the Political Institute in Paris, takes us on a tour of the Arab countries that experienced events and "revolutions" in 2011, starting from Tunisia and ending with Syria. Kipball traveled through each of these countries recording and narrating his diaries, impressions, and what transpired with the people he met during the period 2011 - 2013. The author's journey begins from Sidi Bouzid, a town located in the center of Tunisia, when a street vendor set himself on fire on December 17, 2011, igniting protests demanding justice, freedom, and democracy. These movements spread to more than one country, leading to the fall of ruling regimes in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, and Libya, while the popular movement in Syria, Yemen, and Libya took another turn, sinking into wars and suffering that resulted in a very large number of casualties, destruction spreading across these countries, and the rise of Islamic parties. Except for Bahrain, where the course of events took a different turn.
