Product description
Languages are peoples; because they record their heritage, and what their hearts contain of feelings, and their imaginations of images, and their minds of thoughts. This book has focused on explaining the relationship between language and culture; to show its danger, and its place in the mind and identity, and that what the Arabs face today of schemes, and aggression, and the raids launched against them, aim to erase the memories of the Arabs, and to obliterate their identity; since pride in identity is what builds the feeling of distinction, and resistance to melting away, and subjugation. When the identity is erased, that feeling and resistance are replaced by a tendency to imitate the dominant, seeking perfection, and compensating for deficiency. The book clarifies what results from understanding the importance of language to identity, from the awareness of peoples towards their languages, their preservation, reverence, and elevating them to the highest ranks in their lives. It balances that with what the Arabs are doing today to the Arabic language.
