Product description
A woman and a man sail the sea towards one of the Italian islands where the prison for the most dangerous criminals in the country is located. The woman was visiting her husband, and the man was visiting his son, but the violent Mistral winds forced them to spend the night together in the house of a prison guard who was always eager for the other side. A bond develops between the visitors that we might be unable to imprison in any word, even if that word is love. But the new lovers are forced not to meet again after the prisoners were distributed to other scattered prisons due to the violence witnessed at the island prison. Thus, Italy was forced into everything, into sadness, love, waiting, fear, and hope... It is tormented by despair from violence that ends all that violence. When they left, Maria Catherine had once again promised herself to ask him the question that had been troubling her. It was not a complicated or long question, nor difficult to understand: What happened to you? This question is asked by Francesca to everyone: to Italy, to Italians, and to history... What happened to you, O human?
