Product description
Our Arab women's literary history carries great texts that contributed to shaping the Arab mind since the early days of the literary renaissance, and "The English Lady" is one of the marks of Arab women's creativity; it is a novel with a romantic character. Women have temperaments that perhaps, if men knew them, would dispel their suspicion and doubt towards them sometimes, and find justification for many incidents and answers to confused questions regarding women. Perhaps this novel is the only one that the writer "Labiba Madi" translated into Arabic, but she did not mention the name of its author, and this caught the critics' attention to the extent that some of them believed she authored it from a foreign environment to escape the restrictions of Eastern societies at that time. The novel contains nothing related to foreign culture except the names of the characters and the places of events. Even "Labiba Madi" dedicated it to the daughters of her generation of girls and women.
