Product description

Goldtseher began writing his complete diaries on the day he turned forty in 1890, and continued writing them until 1919, two years before his death. These diaries were published long after his death in 1977-1978. They contain many of his opinions on the three Abrahamic religions, his connection with their adherents, especially Islam and Muslims. These diaries include the events he experienced in his life, and the hardships he endured that made his life very bitter, except for some happy days in which he enjoyed tranquility, and met men who appreciated his scientific status. Especially during his time in the Levant and Egypt, where he mentions the good encounters he had there, and praises the friendship and goodwill he received in those places.
