The book "Hippy" tells the story of Paulo, the young man with long hair, and the dreamer of one day becoming a writer, who travels around the world fleeing the Brazilian military dictatorship in search of freedom and spirituality. After the "Three Days of Peace and Music" gathering in Woodstock, New York, in 1969, the "Hippies" began to appear all over the world. In Amsterdam, their appearance was striking as they wore vibrant clothes, played music, and discussed issues of liberation, awareness, and politics, forming a model for a generation that refused to live the mechanized life their parents knew. In the Dutch capital, Paulo meets Carla, a young Dutch woman, and they head together to the most prominent "Hippy" centers in Nepal, using the "Magic Bus." This journey combines Europe and Asia, a story of love and a quest for self, which generates a new perspective on life and the world.
